Seahaven Food Safety was set up by Simon Gilbert in 1995 to provide food hygiene training to small businesses on the South Coast. Since then the business has evolved and can now provide a wider service to the catering and related trades.
Simon has many years experience in Food Safety and Health and Safety. He has worked as a Food Safety Officer in Local Authority; Food Safety Consultant with a national supermarket chain and more recently as an Environmental Health Practitioner for an independent Food Safety Consultancy Company. He has also conducted Food Hygiene inspections on a consultancy basis for several Local Authorities.

Simon is a member of the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health and an Accredited Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

Seahaven Food Safety provides bespoke food safety audits and inspections; food safety policy/HACCP development. Seahaven Food Safety also offers supplier auditing.

We offer a range of food hygiene courses from Foundation level Food Hygiene to Advanced level Food Hygiene training. All our courses are certificated by the Royal Institute of Public Health.

We also provide Local Authorities with cover for maternity and sickness leave; both short and long term contract cover can be provided. Contracted out food hygiene inspections can also be provided for.
